 5 or 6 Granny Smith apples

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup sugar

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Ready made pie crust or dough


Heat oven to 350-degrees

Scoop out all apples, keeping skins on.  Reserve 4 for filling and baking.  Mix the scooped out insides from all 5-6 apples with the sugars and cinnamon.  Fill the 4 apples.  Cut the pie crust into 1/-4 inch strips and lay in a lattice pattern across the apples.  Place in an 8 x 8 pan that has a little water in the bottom.  Cover with foil and bake 20-25 minutes.  Uncover and bake for another 20 minutes until crust is light brown.
